The Muted Man

A muted man sat alone,  A vacant smile upon his face, Seated in the abyss deep,  With an emptiness upon his cheek. Muted colors surrounded the man, Immersed as if in a grand plan, Or maybe it was something unseen, Circumstances unforeseen. His presence diffused into the sea, Natural as a lonely winter breeze. Solitude settled deeper than deep, For I realized he did not have anyone to keep. Everyone meaningful swept away, For with him they could not stay. His mind empty of thought, A way to change the situation, he had not got. And as we pan away, He blends into the mire that engulfs him, A state some envy, A state of absolute empty. As if a grain of sand in a land of drought, Surrounded by the solitude not sought, A result of actions and karma was what he got. 'No regrets' he exclaimed in defeat, As he shuffled deeper into his seat, And time stood still, not ticked a beat. Silence he did not seek, Was in the end all he could but keep.

Expanse

Hidden within these perpetual waves, Lie gems of my reality, Hidden within the azure expanse, Lie moments of my obscurity, Each second, Each minute, Each moment, Refined in new light. Memories of the infinite, Recollected, Refined, Rewritten. Euphoric reminiscence, Of the past of a life.

Day old flies

The ticking can be deafening for some, Exhilarating some, Bothering some, Bothersome. And so Finiteness, Makes the clock tick louder. It makes me uneasy to comprehend, My time here is finite, My days numbered. And such the gravity gets louder. The finiteness is blinding, Much rather wish in the infinite Just hope for more time,  More time before my eventual demise. And yet ever so finite is this life I call mine. I want to achieve, Make a difference here, In the land, seas or skies, Makes me ever want to hope, I make a difference here, Therwise what difference is there? Between me and those day old flies.

The Beat

Would you say, you're gay with a hopeful prospect, of a life well-lived, and having wealth that knows no bounds, but you shan't realize, the true worth of life, within pure, unsullied naked eyes. After having lived such a life, would you want to live, or would you die?s Your choices shape the future, your choices shape your life as it is. So man up, gear up, and Pucker up your glutes, should you have been kicked, kicked by a man in boots. Sometimes things are rough, you have no choice, but to get tough. Stop with the whining, Oh dear God!! The whining! Your problems are Yours to fix. Your choices matter, even when bad ones are in the mix. Make choices, learn, and repeat. And soon enough you'll get the beat. So buckle up, and hang on to your seats, because you are the hero, the villain and the NPCs, the characters in the story, made with your life's beat.

The Setting Sun

In the latter years, Beyond the falling tears, With loss of sight, The blind old man will hold spite. For he is plunged  into a world of darkness, For his sun kissed eyes, Have been dumped, Dumped into murky waters of the Nile. For why should he smile, Now that he cannot walk alone a mile? When I can see light, Within these murky waters of the Nile. Oh I long to see the setting sun, My grandson, upon my lap, Tolerating me, An unbearable old sap. I long to see the golden visage, The orange yellow and red, The blending colors draw to light The setting sun

Call to arms

Does the lord not see despair, Does he overlook those under his care? We act and behave in a reckless manner, Not caring about ending up on the police scanner, My mind is blown, Not able to fathom, The race, I call my own. This is Gods Kingdom. His rule his domain, Why do I feel like all he wants to cause us is pain. Desperate times call for desperate action. Do what’s right I’d say,  But I don’t really expect any reaction. The worlds dead, deep in despair, It’s time to bloom, thrive and evolve. For what humans need is resolve. Resolve to improve, Resolve to solve. Resolve to recognize our mistakes. Resolve to correct it, whatever it takes. We have to rise , Before our planets demise. So my brethren I call for you, I call for your attention, I call for some corrective action. Be this the call to arms. Before we cause our planet any irreparable harm.
